We are using WordPress 3.5 and we may have a bug related to the recent WordPress update. Our users report:
“Since Christmas there has been a weird quirk in Events wherein every time you edit any event (for anything, to add a photo, correct a grammar mistake, etc) it automatically re-schedules the date to 28 August 2013. Why is it doing this, and how do I make it stop! It’s incredibly annoying and means I spend tons of time checking and re-scheduling events. And now there is a weird pile up of events on 28 Aug, and I don’t know where they came from, despite having checked.”
Will loading an update of the Events Calendar PRO plugin resolve this for us? Many thanks!

    Hi Emily,

I’m sorry to hear about this behavior with the plugin. One of the first things we would want you to try is to update the plugin to the latest version (2.0.10). I’m not positive that will resolve the issue, but there’s a good chance it will.

If that doesn’t do it we’ll need to take a look at some other things. But let’s start there. Let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Jonah

Will do. Stupid question: I’m not getting a prompt in Plugins to update Event Calendar PRO. Is it OK if I just overwrite the 2.0.8 files with 2.0.10 file via FTP?

Yep, a manual update is what I would recommend. Just to be safe, make a backup of the folder before you do update.
