Events as posts and/or posts as events

Hello,

Is it possible with the events calendar (simple or pro) to post an event as a blog post and/or to post a blog post as an event.
I want to build a grid on the homepage with post extracts and featured images as thumbnails, also a blog page with the list of post extracts with their featured image.
I’d like also to choose what category will be displayed.

I would like to avoid typing several times the same content and duplicate an event as a post and vice versa.

That is an interesting request, but we do not have a feature to do as you ask.

It might be possible with a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide.
