All location data filled in.
But the search doesn’t work.

I have a question regarding search – I tried to search for the location “Erlangen” – but the result makes me wondering – https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0TqEFDVcQi8dWJEQ29jVWZYTVE/view?usp=sharing

No matches for “Erlangen” but there are many, many entries like this:
http://www.hugo-info.de/events/list/

Any idea?

Hello,

Sorry for the issues you are having on this. I can help out with this though.

I visited your site and see what you mean.

I noticed though that the Venue Addresses did not have maps or completed addresses.

The location search is using Google GeoData to Find the Location and since that data is incomplete it is not finding anything.

Can you try to complete one venue’s address and make sure the map is showing and then retry the search again and see if that helps.

Hi Peter,

It looks like some of those venue addresses are incomplete (and so perhaps Google is unable to suggest what the correct coordinates are).

Can you try updating one or more with a complete street address and see if that helps?

I appreciate you may not wish to be so specific, but that would at least help us to determine if the problem is simply that Google cannot work with the information provided.
