GuestSome pre-sales q’s:
1) Payment types restriction: You say I can only use Google or PayPal if I use the API. Can I get around this by writing out the iframe that pulls in the EventBrite tickets? Here is an example: http://www.edithwharton.org/event/first-steps-into-storytelling-a-workshop-with-speak-up-producer-and-moth-storyteller-matthew-dicks/?instance_id=15883
2) With the plugin, I can enter events on my site, and then push them to EventBrite, correct? Will it push all events, or can I select which ones I want to display on EventBrite?
3) If I go the other way, and enter the events on EventBrite, I see that I can download them to my site. However, it appears I must do each event individually. Is that correct? If so, is there any way to import all my events from EventBrite?
Thanks

MemberHi Matt and thanks for getting in touch!
Great questions, let’s tackle them one at a time.
1) Payment types restriction: You say I can only use Google or PayPal if I use the API. Can I get around this by writing out the iframe that pulls in the EventBrite tickets?
All payments for tickets are handled directly through Eventbrite. In other words, the Eventbrite Tickets will display the tickets that are available for a particular event (if there are any for it in Eventbrite), then take the customer to Eventbrite to complete the transaction. You can certainly try to intercept and customize the transaction process, but I assume that would be a very heavy lift and likely limited by what the Eventbrite API has to offer.
2) With the plugin, I can enter events on my site, and then push them to EventBrite, correct? Will it push all events, or can I select which ones I want to display on EventBrite?
That is indeed correct. And you can choose to push an event to Eventbrite in the event editing process which means you can choose which events are pushed to Eventbrite.
3) If I go the other way, and enter the events on EventBrite, I see that I can download them to my site. However, it appears I must do each event individually. Is that correct? If so, is there any way to import all my events from EventBrite?
You are correct: all events imported from Eventbrite are done individually. I’m afraid importing all at once is not currently supported.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
