eventbrite tickets – personal vs business

sorry if this is a lame question but I am helping build a wordpress site for a business and I want to use the eventbrite ticket plugin but need to understand which option to choose. for your licensing, does “personal” mean personal use on a personal site and “business” mean business use on a business site or is really just a matter of how many sites it can be used on (1 vs 3)? also, is the license fee recurring each year?

Hi Joe,

Personal and Business only refers to the number of sites the license key can be used on (one and three, respectively). You can use the “Personal” license on a business site or the “Business” license for your own sites, no problems.

The license key must be purchased or renewed each year. One purchase gives you one year of access to support, downloads, and automatic updates. After that, the plugin will continue to work, but you will not be able to update. Happily, renewals are at a discount price.
