GuestI am running a WP multisite for a group of coaches. Each coach gets their own site to post blogs and edit pages, but we do not require them to have the ability to create events on their own. Instead, the company only has one Eventbrite account and needs to display those events on the parent site. Do I need to purchase a multisite license for this, or will a single-site license work in this case?

ParticipantHi Abtek,
I’m happy to answer your questions here! 🙂 In order to do so, I have a question to clarify:
I’m assuming each coach’s site is a separate install, are these on subdomains or separate domains? I’ll need to know this in order to help answer questions about licensing.
Please let me know about this, and any other questions you may have.
Best,
Shelby 🙂

GuestActually each coach site shares the same theme and plugin set as the parent site, as they are managed under one WordPress multisite install. However, we restrict access to see or enable/disable plugins to only admins. The Events Calendar would need to be multisite compatible, but it would only be active on the parent site.
To clarify my question – Is the Eventbrite Tickets extension compatible with WordPress multisite?
(and)
Does the multisite compatible version (if there’s a difference) require a multisite license if it is only active on one domain? Our child-sites are managed by subdomains. For example…
http://www.theparentsite.com
coach1.theparentsite.com
coach2.theparentsite.com
…etcThank you for your help.

ParticipantHey Abtek,
Thanks for clarifying!
I think you’ll find the information you need about multisite licensing here. If you can confirm that you’ve referenced this documentation and you’re still having trouble getting things to work as expected, please let me know and we can keep working on resolving this together. 🙂
It’s also worth worth noting that you’ll need to click the “Unlimited and Multisite licenses are also available. Click here!” link on the Eventbrite Tickets page to see the multisite pricing.
Let me know if I can clarify any of this!
Best,
Shelby 🙂
