EventBrite payment by Credit Card

I understand there are some restriction with regards to the EventBrite integration. You web page say ‘Eventbrite has recently further locked down their API to only allow PayPal and Google payments.’

Does this mean that events created cannot have payment by credit card?

If so, is it possible for the user to log into EventBrite and manually change the payment method?

Hi there,

Thanks for considering our products. Currently, they only allow the two payment methods stated. It wouldn’t hurt to contact them if you need credit card payments to work so they know its useful for our customers.

Understood but you haven’t answered the second part to my question…

Is it possible to manually change the payment method within Eventbrite?

And what happens if events are first created within Eventbrite using Credit Card payment method and then imported into Events Calendar?

Hi Nick,

Since the event is created in Eventbrite as well, it may be possible to change it manually but that would be something you would need to ask them. In regards to importing an event from Eventbrite to the event calendar. You would be forced to use PayPal or Google Payments.
