ParticipantLooking at purchasing the eventbrite plugin to complement our calendar pro. In reviewing the tutorial videos, it seems I must choose an online payment method of paypal or google. Aren’t eventbrite themselves a valid payment processor? I really don’t want to send my customers to paypal or google.

ParticipantHi Dave,
Our Events Calendar PRO plugin really has nothing to do with the payment process. It really just connects the power and functionality of Eventbrite to calendar events. Eventbrite handles all the payment processes. You might be better off asking your question over there.
If there’s anything else I can help you with, please just ask!

GuestHi Julie, thx for the reply – sorry for any confusion. I’m referring to this tri.be video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2D16ItTABc at the 3:48 mark. It shows in the tri.be eventbrite plugin page with 2 online payment options: paypal or google. It’s a radio button and you must choose one. However, in eventbrite there are actually 4 online payment options: credit card, paypal, google, or both paypal & google. My question, more specifically is, do you (or the API) restrict the online payment options to a subset of what eventbrite offers? Or is the video out of date? This is important to us as we must have the credit card processing option. I don’t want to purchase the plugin only to find it doesn’t have the support we need.

ParticipantHi Dave,
Ah, my misunderstanding. And you guessed right. I do believe that the API restricts the payment options to just PayPal and Google Checkout. It sounds like our plugin isn’t going to meet your needs if you require a credit card option.
Sorry we can’t help you on this at the current time.

ParticipantThanks for getting to me Julie! No worries, we’ll figure out a different path for now and hopefully eventbrite can open up that api at some point.
