Hi Brad,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our plugins. You can certainly use Eventbrite Tickets and Facebook Events on the same site. However, because of how each plugin functions, they don’t really work together.
The Eventbrite plugin has two main functions. You can import an event from Eventbrite into your WordPress calendar. Or, you can make an event on WordPress and link it to your Eventbrite account. Either way, the tickets display on your WordPress calendar and users can click from there to Eventbrite to purchase.
The Facebook Events plugin allows you to import events from Facebook into The Events Calendar. At this time, you cannot move events from The Events Calendar to Facebook. So as you can see, the plugins function pretty independently, but both bring events in from other places. I suppose that you could import an event from Facebook into The Events Calendar, and then link it from The Events Calendar to Eventbrite. However, that would not mean that the three events were synced up, only that the current information had been imported to the other site. Does that make sense?
I hope the above answers your questions. You might also want to check out the New User Primers for Eventbrite Tickets and Facebook Events. Those include a lot of detail on how the plugins work.
Cheers,
Leah
