ParticipantDoes it happen on all events or just one? If it happens on all of them, it might just be easiest to make an additional field, like you did for Age and put the website URL in there. Not sure at all why its not displaying.
Would that work for you?

ParticipantThe visit URL link in that area is for the URL of the Organizer. It’s been designed to take that URL from the Organizer’s URL box.

ParticipantOK, so how do I add a spot to take the actual event url?

You’re going to go to Events->Settings then click on the “Additional Fields” tab-Chris

MemberHi Daniella, sorry for the delay: can we back track a little though just so I can be sure I understand the situation? In your original post you wrote:
However, if someone fills out the website URL in the Events section it is not added anywhere. How do I add this?
You then shared the URL you wish to add and a screenshot of the single event page. I can see that URL there under the label “event page url” – so it seems to be in place, albeit things have been customized somewhat in the case of your single event page (and the display of meta data in particular).
Is that accurate and if so do you need further help here?

ParticipantHi,
I added an extra field per Chris’ recommendation. However I still need help with what I posted on the 23rd since the url is too long.
I hope that makes sense.October 28, 2013 at 4:10 pm #73481Barry
MemberHi Daniella: because this is a customization we’re going to have to let you figure it out. There are a lot of resources here on the Modern Tribe site you can learn from (check out the list of items in the Useful Resources widget over on the right) and I think in this case you might also make use of general WP and PHP development tips and tricks from the wider web.
Good luck!

MemberSorry we can’t do more – unfortunately our resources are limited and though we’d love to be able to guide everyone through their customizations it just isn’t practical. What we can offer you though is a list of freelancers/outside developers who might be able to provide you with the extra support/dev resources you require here, if that’s of interest?

ParticipantSure, thanks.

MemberIn no particular order:
WerkPress (http://www.werkpress.com) – customization based projects with minimums of $500-$800
Chris Miller (http://launchbrigade.com) – $125 consultation required before providing an estimate
Nick Ciske (http://thoughtrefinery.com/) – minimum fee depends on project type
If you need a cheaper solution, you might check out some of these listings:http://freelanceswitch.com

http://jobs.wordpress.net/Hopefully the above will help you find someone to work on your site. Good luck (and I’ll go ahead and close this thread now).
