Sorry – lots of questions… Please LMK if these need to be separate discussions.
If I integrate Events Calendar Pro with Woocommerce using Woocommerce Tickets (also selling hard and digital goods) and a user has a Woocommerce account will they be able to see an event that they have signed up for on their account?
Will the user be able to cancel their registration and/or transfer to another event?
Can user register for multiple events?
Is there an ability to register more than one person at a time for an event?
Can we create a wait list?
Thanks for any help you can give me. I think this is the right solution, just trying to make certain we have all the functionality we need or get a sense on how much customization I need to make.

Hi there, Shirley! Thanks for getting in touch–I’d be happy to answer all your questions here in this thread. 🙂

If I integrate Events Calendar Pro with Woocommerce using Woocommerce Tickets (also selling hard and digital goods) and a user has a Woocommerce account will they be able to see an event that they have signed up for on their account?

The nice thing about the tickets is that they are registered as a Product post in WooCommerce. That means they behave just like any other order, which allows customers to log in and see their order history. They isn’t a specific list for registered events, but they will have access to their order history, which includes their purchases tickets in WooCommerce.

Will the user be able to cancel their registration and/or transfer to another event?

Since tickets are registered as Products in WooCommerce, you can cancel or refund an order like other purchases in WooCommerce. Once you’ve refunded the order, the customer can certainly purchase a ticket for a different event.

Can user register for multiple events?

Users are able to add a ticket to their cart directly from the Event post. From there, they can continue shopping, or proceed to check out.

Is there an ability to register more than one person at a time for an event?

Customers can purchase multiple tickets for the same event. However, the plugin is currently unable to capture information for the other attendees. In other words, the tickets will all appear to belong to the person who purchased the ticket. We are working on a new feature that would support this, but it’s still a little ways off.

Can we create a wait list?

Not currently, no. I do see that WooCommerce offers a Wish List add on. I haven’t tried it out personally and can’t confirm that it would integrate smoothly, but it looks promising and might be worth considering.

I think this is the right solution, just trying to make certain we have all the functionality we need or get a sense on how much customization I need to make.

I hope this winds up being the right solution for you! I do want to note that we offer a full refund on products within 30 days of purchase. That should give you some time to take it for a spin to see if it will work for you. We also have a tutorials and documentation to help you get started on more advanced customizations.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if this answers your questions. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Geoff
