Event Updates

Are events supposed to update after their first import? We have numerous “Save the Date” types of events that are later populated with updated titles, descriptions, and event header imagery. However, the site does not pull in these updates to the existing events.

Is there something we are missing?

Hi, something is not missing the importer does not update existing events.

To get around that I would suggest a bulk deleting of the Event Placeholders and then uploaded the new event data to takes it’s place.

Any plan to add updates in the future? Bulk deletion sounds like an awful process when maintaining pulls from multiple Facebook pages and posts being made to the main feed.

Right now we are working on improving performance as that is the number issue for the next release we are looking to add new features again starting after that.

I would recommend going to our UserVoice Page and making that as a feature option as that is where we get the bulk of new features from.

As for the bulk delete you can give those placeholder events a “coming soon” category to make them easier to find and remove.

That you can select all and easily delete 100 or more events in a minute.
