    Hi there,

    I originally posted a thread here:

    That particular event fixed itself after about 4 days. It happened again a couple of weeks ago but I just created new events and pasted the info in because I didn’t have time to chase it up. It happened again today on the event “9-12-18 Loving Life on a Lilo – Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park”. It is scheduled for 9th Dec 1-5pm but says when I preview it is scheduled for today (21st Sept) 8am -5pm.

    I figured out the problem happens if I save the draft before I change the date. After I saved it, it won’t update the date I enter. About 4 days later it fixes itself.

    I tried clearing the cache, using incognito window etc but doesn’t make a difference.

    I will try to upload the exported events that Jeremy asked for in another support ticket since it wouldn’t let me upload them here.

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I have tried to recreate this scenario based on the information I have. This is what I did:

    Create a new event.

    Enter a title.

    Click on Preview => the preview shows the unchanged date, today 8am to 5pm (the default values)

    Click on save as draft.

    Change the date to something in the future and change the times to something else than 8 to 5.

    Click on Publish.

    Check the event on the front-end, making sure I’m not checking the preview page of it => everything is updated and shows properly.

    Are you doing something differently? Could you maybe create a screen recording so I can see what you are doing? That would help us track down if we are having a bug here.

    Hi Andras,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I have tried to replicate by recording as I
    create a new test event but now it is working. However I still can’t change
    the date for “9-12-18 Loving Life on a Lilo – Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National
    Park”.

    I can’t figure out what it is – it’s happened 5 times now but not every
    time. I exported my events and attached them here as Jeremy asked in the
    first post. Can you see a problem with this particular event which is
    supposed to be on 9th Dec but showing as Sept 21st on preview?

    I’ll try to take careful notice making events in future to see if I do
    anything different and let you know.

    Hi again,

    I have some more info on this – it seems to be related to the permalink.

    I have events with the same name held on a different dates so I have been
    including the date in the title and permalink to differentiate. If I save
    before I changed the permalink, the date will not update. If I change the
    permalink back to the original, the date will update. I updated permalinks
    on WordPress (settings – permalinks – save changes) and it fixed the new
    test event but not the old one. Perhaps the old event will update if I give
    it 24hrs or so.

    I included a video capture of an example of it happening.

    Now I know when it tends to happen, I can be very careful about the order I
    do this in and I might be able to avoid it.

    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for the details.

    I checked as well based on that. What I found is that in the preview you will see the wrong dates, however, on the real page you see the correct ones. Can you check and confirm?
