Event Tickets with Repeating Event?

Hi there,

I recently purchased Event Tickets Plus, and for the one event I’ve created for testing, it seems be be good. I’ve created an event, added 2 tickets tied in together using global stock (5 students total, each can pick rental or no-rental).

The event is a class, and it’s going to be held weekly. Naturally, I tried “cloning” the event, which works… except for the tickets. They don’t carry over. So it seems that I would need to manually create the 2 tickets for each event… which could get a bit tiresome.

Is there any way to just create a “repeating event” that would just make that one event happen every week? And on top of that, duplicate the ticket functionality fresh for each event?

Just in case the context helps… it’s for my client who’s teaching a weekly class. 5 people for each class, and they can either pay for a rental board, or just pay without the rental. So 2 tickets for each weekly class.

Please help. Which I can manually create all these tickets, it would be a lot of work.

Hi Doug, and welcome to the forums!

Great question. I am afraid, however, that Event Tickets Plus is unable to create recurring events — though that is indeed a feature of Events Calendar PRO, which allows you to create recurring events on The Events Calendar.

I do want to note, though, that having both Event Tickets Plus and Events Calendar PRO will still not quite get what you’re looking for, even though it might sound like it should. Tickets do not support recurring events yet but the good news is that we are actively working on that feature as we speak and hope to have that out in our next major release (version 4.3) if all things go according to plan.
