Event Tickets Plus & Woocommerce cart

Hello,

I was wondering if I could have further clarification for how purchasing works and is integrated with The Event Calendar & Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce.

If I’m using my website to:
– sell tickets for events with The Event Calendar & Event Tickets Plus
– and sell products with WooCommerce shop

And a customer wants to purchase in the same session:
– a ticket for an event
– and a product in the shop

Will both the ticket and product show up in the cart for that same shopping session and be purchased at the same time (in the same shop)?

Hello!

Yes, tickets that are sold on your site with our plugins get added to the same WooCommerce Cart as any other products on your site — and all can be “checked out” in one purchase, all there in the same shop and same cart.

sort of related question – does pro tickets add a product in woo? and if yes, is that how you would extend functionality – by adding woo plugins?

Hi Aviva,

“Tickets” in Event Tickets Plus are indeed WooCommerce “products”. This means that, yes, you can often extend functionality by using normal WooCommerce Extensions as long as those extensions work with all types of WooCommerce products.

Now, each given Extension may have its own nuances, and may or may not work well with our ticketing plugins to varying degrees depending on that specific Extension.
