GuestI have a multi-part question; I am solely interested in being able to sell event tickets, and wanted to ask if this exact functionality is available with the plugin.
1) Can I create single tickets (1) and ticket packs (10-pack)?
2) Is there any sort of conditional logic with ticket products? My event would be a banquet, and I’m trying to create the functionality where once a customer chooses an option (single vs. 10-pk), they then must choose a banquet meal for each ticket (drop down or buttons, not text area).
3) In regards to max tickets per event, can products with two options (single vs 10-pk) share the same max number? Meaning if there are 500 tickets, it’s not 500 single tickets and 500 10-pk tickets, but 500 between both options.
4) I would especially need the SKU and meal option to appear on the cart/checkout/email.

GuestI should add to #1 that I mean for the same event.

MemberGood evening Vytenis and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products and we’ll be glad to answer your questions.

You can create multiple ticket types for each event. These ticket types will have separate names, pricing and stocks, etc..
2) Is there any sort of conditional logic with ticket products? My event would be a banquet, and I’m trying to create the functionality where once a customer chooses an option (single vs. 10-pk), they then must choose a banquet meal for each ticket (drop down or buttons, not text area).
No, unfortunately not at this point. But that would be a very nice feature to add.
3) In regards to max tickets per event, can products with two options (single vs 10-pk) share the same max number? Meaning if there are 500 tickets, it’s not 500 single tickets and 500 10-pk tickets, but 500 between both options.
Unfortunately, at the current time, there is no global stock feature, meaning these tickets are not interdependent when it comes to managing stock. But it is a feature we will soon be working on.
Based on your needs, it sounds like you would probably be better off handling the complex ticketing part of things through a plugin such as WooCommerce Composite products.
Of course you could still use the Events Calendar for the Calendar part and provide an URL to the ticket buying portion of things.
4) I would especially need the SKU and meal option to appear on the cart/checkout/email.
Based on that last need, I am absolutely convinced you should let WooCommerce take care of the totality of the process when it comes to tickets. WooCommerce (with or without extra plugins) lets you customize all of these things to your liking.
Is there anything else I can help you with ?
Have a great day!
