GuestHi all,
1. Do I need events calendar pro as prerequisite for running event tickets plus?
2. Or I can install it on the free events calendar?
3. Events are stored in the posts’ table or event manage provide its own table to store events’ records?
Thanks.

ParticipantHello!
1. You do NOT need Events Calendar Pro to use Event Tickets Plus.
2. If just want to sell tickets on “pages” or “posts” on your site, and not on “events”, then you do not need The Events Calendar. But if you do want to have “events” on your site, then you would need The Events Calendar. In either case, no matter what, you will need these two plugins: Event Tickets and WooCommerce. (And if you would rather use Easy Digital Downloads than WooCommerce, that is fine too. 🙂 )
3. Events are indeed stored in the wp_posts table.
Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

GuestThanks!
Last pre sales question (I hope)…
Are events records also stored in the woocommerce tables?
How exactly tickets “become” products in woocommerce?
For the moment I have developed an app whose products’ records are populated using WC APIs.
So, if a ticket become a standard WC product (a record in the WC products’ table) I should see ’em all together with all the other products.
Thanks.

ParticipantGood questions, Valerio!
Are events records also stored in the woocommerce tables?
Event records are NOT stored in WooCommerce’s own custom tables. They are stored in the default wp_posts tables.

In other words, they are literally the “products” post type! 😀 Their product catalog visibility is set to “hidden” by default, so if you want tickets to show up along with other “normal” WooCommerce products, you just adjust their catalog visibility. You can learn more about catalog visibility here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/catalog-visibility-options/
Please let me know if this information helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!
