ParticipantI have setup an event for a training course I am running, as well as adding two additional “once” recurring events. That all seems fine, except for a red alert saying that “This is a recurring event. If you add tickets they will only show up on the next upcoming event in the recurrence pattern. The same ticket form will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.” I dont understand this?
I then added 6 “tickets” to the first even in the series, so I could have Full Fee, Concession and repeat rates for bookings made prior to 3 weeks before the event date – early bird rate. The other 3 tickets were for those bookings made within 3 weeks of the course date. When I go to the event via the calendar via the front end, it lists all 6 ticket options for sale. I specified dates they were to be available. Obviously, I only want 3 to display, depending on the date of thebooking in relation to the course date. Can this be done?
Also, I would not like to display the number oif tickets available in the front end for the event.February 15, 2018 at 6:51 am #1454102Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Bruce,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You are seeing that alert because recurring events are currently not supported by Event Tickets. In order to add tickets for each of your recurring events separately, you can create a recurring events series, and then break events from series, and create individual tickets for those events.
You can also vote on this idea in our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
You can hide the available tickets by adding the following CSS to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s (or child theme’s) stylesheet:
span.tribe-tickets-remaining {
display:none;
}Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantOK. So can I offer discount pricing on books (woocommerce simple products) associated with the events they are booking, if they buy the book with the course at the same time?
Also, can I offer a discount if they buy all 3 courses together in the one purchase?Thank you

KeymasterHi Bruce,
You can offer discounts on products with your current setup by offering customers a coupon code through WooCommerce.
Alternatively, you can try to integrate a third-party plugin like WooCommerce Product Bundles.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
