Hi there!
I see that the “Shortcode ability for simple implementation on any page/post” feature request is in “pre-release testing”.
Do I understand this correctly as that it will in effect natively replace this plugin: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar-shortcode ?
That would be great news indeed.
Do you have any estimate at the 4.3. release date ?
Cheers

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. That is a great question.
The plugin you have mentioned is actually not built by Modern Tribe, so we do not aim to replace it per se.Therefore, it is unlikely our new shortcode ability will have all the same features.
However, I would not be surprised if the authors of that plugin made theirs compatible with our new abilities to expand on what they already offer.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I take that as a yes. Do you have a rough estimate for 4.3 release?
