Hi George / Geoff, please quickly set the previous support ticket to PRIVATE…I forgot and have now sent all the logins for Ticketstroom…I’m going to quickly change the logins and will resend….sorry about that…panic, panic…

1. In your site’s current state—no custom coding—do tickets orders get correctly marked as “Complete” when the orders are completed and their payments received? Or do they stay as “Pending”?

2. In your site’s current state—no custom coding—do other site emails get delivered without problems?

3. In your site’s current state—no custom coding—if you make a test event with free tickets and “buy” them yourself, with your own email address, do you get the tickets email?

3. In your site’s current state—no custom coding—if you make a test event with free tickets and “buy” them yourself, with your own email address, do you get the tickets email? if the event is a RSVP / Free event, then tickets are sent with no probs with QR code.

It sounds like things are…working now? Interesting.

1. Can you clarify what specific problems still persist?

In step three above, I asked you to make a test event with free tickets and “buy” them yourself with your own email address, and then seeing if you got the tickets email for this purchase.

You say this works fine.

2. Now, how about if you make a test event with “Premium” / paid tickets? Once you make this event, make a coupon code in WooCommerce that adds a 100% discount so that you can “buy” them for $0.00. Use your own email address at checkout to buy the tickets. Once you buy these tickets, does the tickets email arrive with any issues?

Hi George, no, nothing is working for the auto ticket send. Everything is set to ‘Complete’. If I try to manually send from the backend, still nothing comes through. Just to confirm, I’ve removed all the auto send custom coding.

So, to answer your question, no, the autosend is not working, nor are receipts getting sent. I am trying to send to numerous email accounts with totally different domains and locations, but still nothing.

The enquiry form is sending with no problems.

I feel like we are going around in circles with this one again:( I’ve already covered all these things and numerous screenshots and methods. What do you see on the backend when you login and check? are you seeing anything out of sync or needing to be changed or altered / updated, etc? Basically is there any settings that shouldn’t be the way they are or are they okay? then maybe it’s something deeper in the coding perhaps…if you can also check that to see.

Hi George,

Okay, celebrations!! I’ve finally cracked this one. What I did was the following:

– Woocommerce – Settings – Extra Options – Autocomplete Orders – Mode and set the dropdown to: ‘Any Order (!!!)’
– Events – Settings – Tickets – Ticket Settings: I ticked: ‘Post, page, Event’
Then on the same page at the bottom under: ‘WooCommerce Support, I ticked: ‘Try to set the status of new ticket orders to “complete” automatically’

– I also completely removed all custom auto ticket send coding in ‘functions.php’
– I activated the ‘Easy WP Smtp’ plugin and did the following on the plugin settings:
1.) Type of Encription: ‘None’
2.) SMTP Authentication ‘No’

Many thanks for all your efforts, very strange as the enquiry form was sending, but the tickets weren’t sending until the ‘wp easy smtp’ was activated again (I previously activated and ran some tests, but nothing was sending as it was set to Encription: ‘SSL’ and SMTP Authentication was set to ‘Yes’ So, since then these have been changed to None and No and now working)

Will let you know if any other issues…very relieved after a year’s worth of struggling with this. Thanks team, regards
