Hello
I will be selling “tickets” with a max of 30. Customers can choose whichever ticket they want but the overall max is 30. Ex.) 5 of ticket A, 10 of ticket B, and 5 of ticket C. -OR- 30 of ticket B.
That’s a great question. I’m afraid that the plugin does not currently support setting a maximum number of tickets per purchase, although I do see a request for a minimum number of tickets per purchase in our feature request forum. There is likely a way to limit the number of tickets, but it would take a bit of custom development at this time.
Sorry for the bad news, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
I think she may be referring to the number of seats per event. I have the same question.
Let’s say I have an event with 50 total seats. There are three ticket levels that are available (10) of A, (15) of B, and (25) of C. I need to make sure that when somebody buys and A, B, or C ticket that the total number of the particular ticket is reduced by the number purchased as well as the total seats left.
Oh yeah, thanks for clarifying Jeff! Yes, it is indeed possible to set a “global” number of tickets per event and then each ticket sold draws from that pool of tickets. Similarly, you can set a specific number of tickets per ticket made that is not part of the global stock of tickets. Here’s a more detailed look at how global stock works when making tickets.
Hey folks! I see one of my last replies was marked as the correct answer. I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please feel free to hit us with a new one if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers,
Geoff
