ParticipantEvent is submitted and published at https://www.evalcommunity.com/event/instrumental-variables-webinar-know-program-made-difference/ planed to be held in May 11th, but it is not displayed in the Calendar https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/events/2017-05/?tribe_events_cat=events&tribe-bar-date=2017-05
Why is that happening? Could you advise me how to fix this issue in order to avoid that in the future submissions?

MemberHi Fation!
Thanks for getting in touch! 🙂
This page > https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/events/2017-05/?tribe_events_cat=events&tribe-bar-date=2017-05 will show only the events that belong to the category “Events”. And the event you say it is not displaying in that calendar does not have the “Events” category assigned.
Could you try adding that category to that event and see if it shows as you would expect? Let me know if it helps.
Best!

ParticipantMany thanks Victor. It works now. I would like also to ask you how to set up the Events Calendar. Actually, it is at https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/events/. At this link, as you recommend me, I should assign always the category event in order to be displayed in my calendar. Is it any possibility to simplify the process: if someone submit the events and it is not necessary to assign a category to be displayed in the calendar. For example, I will a create a page events, at https://www.evalcommunity.com/events (and no as it is now at https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/events/), it is anyway to display in the calendar all events, even if it is not any category assigned?

MemberHey Fation!
I’m glad you sorted that out!
Sure! By default, the main calendar page for your events is https://www.evalcommunity.com/events so you don’t need to create an additional page for that and it will show all the events, no matter if they have a category assigned or not.
Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantHello Victor,
Many thanks for your help. I’m trying to remove the https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/events/ and to put https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/ . I do not understand, why I can not see the https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/, but only https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/events/. For that reason, on the menu top, the Event Section has not the link https://www.evalcommunity.com/events but https://www.evalcommunity.com/events/category/eventsHow can I fix permanently this issue?

MemberOh yeah, I see exactly what you mean.
That is something you should be able to change in the menu settings by going to Appearance –> Menus.
There is a good article that will point you exactly how to do that >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-a-calendar-link-to-your-site-menu/
Let me know how that works.
Best!
