    Hello support

    There’s something wrong with the community event notification email to the admin. It’s content is all wrong.

    For example:
    – The subject line of the email contains the name of the image submitted for that event
    – The title of the actual message is the name of the image submitted for that event
    – Instead of the event date the current date (i.e. the date of submission) is displayed
    – Headings such as “event”, “organizer”, “venue”, “description” are shown, but no other text
    – The included link to the event actually leads to the submitted image for that event

    I’ve been using the community plugin for years and this problem is quite recent. It might have happened with the latest updates. I’m currently using the most recent versions of all the TEC plugins.

    Can you help me fix this issue?

    Hey Rafa,

    Thanks for reaching out on this! This a know-bug reported recently by other users and indeed is related to the last update.

    While downgrading the plugin would fix the issue, I do not recommend it because the latest update includes some security fixes you’ll want to have on your site. If this functionality isn’t critical for your site I would recommend waiting for this to be fixed, I don’t have a timeline for this fix but as a couple of folks reported this recently I guess it will be prioritized among other items.

    Thanks for your response. It’s good to know that this is a known problem and that it’s being worked on.

    As you suggested I’ll keep the current plugin version and look forward to a fix for this issue.

    Hey Rafael!

    Just wanted to jump in here and let you know that we released Community Events 4.0.3 last night and it included a fix for this issue. Please check your WordPress updates, or you can also grab the latest copy by logging into this site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
