Hello,
we are interested in your The Events Calendar Pro plugin since most of the features we need for our sites are in your plugin except for the event status – color legends. What we need is a calendar with the features similar as this: https://www.communitywest.com.au/development/event-training-list/event-training-calendar. In you plugin, the one missing is the event status – color legends wich you will find at the bottom right of that page displaying the color legends for Upcoming, Full, Closed, etc.
We are hoping there is a way you can have that specific feature for your plugin? so that the events will display the font color on color legends based on their status?
Hope to hear from you very soon. Thank you so much.

Great question. The Events Calendar does not have a color legend at the moment. However, there is a free add-on called Category Colors that allows you to set a legend and color scheme for events based on the categories they are in:
It’s also worth noting that The Events Calendar uses a lot of CSS classes in the markup so you can change the appearance of specific events in your theme’s stylesheet. That’s another way to go about it as well.
Will this work for you? Please let me know. š
Cheers,

We did purchase the The Events Calendar Pro today under “casmevents” username.
I just have a question with regards to your Category Colors plugin. I did install it on our site but it seems that the options does not display just like what is shown here https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/screenshots/. This is what I see in our http://prntscr.com/cbywnwHope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

I should clarify that the Category Colors plugin is by another plugin author and that they support it directly here on WordPress.org. They might be the best to get in touch with to find out why the settings page for category colors is different for you than it is in the screenshots.
I triedĀ installing the plugin myself and the settings appeared to be correct (screenshot). I would suggest testing for conflicts then reaching out to the Category Colors support forum with the resultsĀ to see if they can pinpoint what is preventing you from being able to select colors for categories on that screen.
Sorry I don’t have a more concrete solution for you, but I hope this at least gets things moving in the right direction.
Thanks!
