Event Start Time meta field in 12 hour format?

This is a long shot, but the _EventStartDate is showing up great in TEC on my site.
However… when I use this meta entry in conjunction with a “send to buffer” plugin, its sends it as ‘2017-12-09 17:30:00’
No way I can format this meta field? reverse date format, remove seconds display, etc?

I know this is a long shot, but wanted to ask.

Hi. Thanks for your detailed request.

I don’t know how your Buffer plugin works, but if it can process a shortcode instead of pulling direct from a database custom field, referencing https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/integrating-events-calendar-slider-revolution-essential-grid/ might help.
