ParticipantHi there,.
We have customers emailing us after updating TECP because our event times are no longer correct on the front end.
Back end they are set correctly and to proper time zone. Front end switches PM for AM and adds an hour.
Very annoying!See here: https://vid.me/lS2r

ParticipantAlso the “Time” field in the info section is blank despite being filled in on the backend.
Our server is in USA, but we are using Sydney time zone… could this be related to the problem? Seems unlikely.

ParticipantUPDATE: I think i resolved the time issue by going to Settings and changing to “use local time zone for all events” however the date and time are not showing up in the “details” sections still and I would like them too.

ParticipantHi guys,
For me, the time is still visible in the details section. Don’t know why it isn’t for you:
http://triggr.nu/agenda/legodag/I only changed the setting you changed as well (use local time zone for all events).
As you can see I’m using the Dutch version, but can’t imagine that being a factor here.

ParticipantWhere do you go to change your timezones to “local” only? I hope that will fix the issue of the wrong times displaying once we went to 4.0.

ParticipantFound it. It fixed it by making it local timezones: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/working-with-timezones/

ParticipantHowdy Guys,
I am sorry you did not get a response sooner! This thread was accidentally mismarked in our system.
It sounds like you did find a solution though – local timezones. Is that working for everyone?
Cheers!

ParticipantNope – still need the actual date and time of event to appear in the “details” section.
They are filled in in the backend.http://laugh-masters.com.au/event/improv-level-1-monday-nights-6-weeks-feb-2-mar-8/

ParticipantHmm that is very strange. Thanks for getting back and clarifying.
Do you have any theme overrides that you are aware of? If so can you try temporarily disabling single-event.php?
If the above does not work, or if you’re not sure about whether you have an override, we should try a conflict test to 0 in on the cause. This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict, and then identify what is conflicting.
Thanks laughmasters! Let me know if I can help along the way. Once you have posted the result of those test I can dive in further. Cheers!

ParticipantNo overrides.
Conflict test: (sigh) PITA

ParticipantDoesn’t seem to be an issue.
Can I provide private login details for someone on your side to take a look?December 10, 2015 at 3:19 pm #1039251Brook
ParticipantI am sorry the conflict test can be a PITA. I so wish there was a better way to debug WordPress, but there really isn’t.
Could you elaborate on what “Doesn’t seem to be an issue.” means? Are you saying that when you did the conflict test the issue went away?
You absolutely can provide login details if you want. Typically when people do so they check the box “Private Reply” to hide those details from folks outside of Modern Tribe. But, keep in mind for legal liability reasons 🙁 our TOS prevents us from making any changes to your site while logged in. We can observe, but not touch any settings or anything. So it might not be a huge help here.
