Event Series has the same URL

We need to have an Event Series share/use the same url.
We have event series that happen every summer which we need to have a one url for all of the event series. Each event info is exactly the same but happen once per month during the spring and summer months.
We though about making it a custom post type but we need the dates to pull into the calendar and calendar widget.

Because we have hundreds of events each year having one url for the primary events would be extremely helpful.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, it sounds like you would like all occurrences of an event to show up on the same page, but still also appear in the month views on each day that they occur, is that correct?

If so, then each series of events does have such a page by default. You can access it from any of the single event pages (you’ll see a “See all” link next to the date).
