Event post form not showing date and time fields

We started getting some weird glitches with photos in The Event Calendar Pro on the admin side about 3 days ago. I thought it might be due to accessing our site via Internet Explorer and had my staff member download Firefox, which seemed to solve the problem for a day. And then yesterday, also on the admin side, we found we couldn’t enter any new events because the date, time and cost fields were not showing up at all. I first updated the plugin (after doing a complete site backup) to the latest version for both The Event Calendar and The Event Calendar Pro, and this had no effect. Next I disabled all plugins except the calendar plugins and those fields still didn’t appear. HELP! We are a destination marketing organization and the calendar is the most popular page on our site!

Sorry to hear that, calaverasvisitorsbureau.

It’s difficult to assess from here without seeing the problem for myself, but although you’ve completed a number of troubleshooting steps (which is awesome, thanks for doing that!) I wonder if you could again attempt the following – paying particular attention to the step concerning your theme:

* Deactivate all other plugins
* Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
* Test and see if the problem is resolved at this point

Of course, I’m basically wondering if there might be a conflict stemming from your theme.
