Event permalinks to include event category?

Hi all,
Having built a large chunk of the site I’m working on, I’ve now just realised that Events don’t include the Event Category taxonomy terms in the permalinks. I can’t see an option to set this as it ignores the standard WP permalink settings.

Please tell me this can be set up manually! This could be a horrific game-changer if not. My client needs the terms in the permalinks for SEO!
e.g.
http://www.mydomain.com/events/cinema/being-john-malkovich/

Hi Adam,

Unfortunately you are correct in your findings and there is currently no way (that we know of) to change the permalinks in the way you want. Others have brought this up as well and we have it on our radar to change in a future version. For right now though you will need to figure out something on your own. Sorry I don’t have more to offer here.

HI I tried installing Community events and I come up with this error note. What do I need to do?
Community Events requires non-default (pretty) permalinks to be enabled or the [tribe_community_events] shortcode to exist on a page.
