I would like to report the same bug as found in this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-order-incorrect-when-using-tribehiderecurrence/

Events do not display the correct date when event recurrences are hidden either through the Settings -> General menu or by using ‘tribeHideRecurrence’ => 1 as an argument of tribe_get_events().

Ok thanks for reporting the issue.

Can you provide some more information and I will look into this.

Events do not display the correct date when event recurrences are hidden

What dates do this display instead? Are they correct on the single events? Do you have a link with any example?

Also can you share the coding you are using with this function:

    tribe_get_events()

In a pastebin or gist here?

Let me know and we can work on finding the issue.

    Thanks

Hi Brian, the first event created is displayed instead of the next upcoming event. The date is not corrected on the single events as the link is to the first created event.

    Code is available here: http://pastebin.com/hZaiPMai

    Ok thanks for the information.

Can you provide a link in a private reply for the following so I am sure what I am looking at is correct.

Please use one Recurring Event as an example:

the first event created is displayed instead of the next upcoming event.

What is the link for the first event?

What is the link for the next upcoming event?

The date is not corrected on the single events as the link is to the first created event.

What is the date showing? And what should it be?

Also can you activate Month View so it is easier to see all the recurring events for testing.

Let me know about that and we can go from there.

    Thanks
