Is it possible to limit fields on some event entries but not all?

In other words, when someone from the community goes to add their own event, I’d like them to be able to select a “basic” listing which wouldn’t have an images and limited fields or an “enhanced” listing which would allow for images and more fields. Is it possible to provide different options? If so, what is the best way?
