    Hello,

I have an event that will not keep the “Live” setting when I hit update. The event is live in Eventbrite, but when I import it, it comes in as a draft. When I update the drop down from draft to live, it goes back to draft after I click update.

I’ve tried deleting and reimporting with no luck. I’ve even tried on a different WordPress site that I am currently building to replace the old one.

Please take a look and let me know what you find.

The sites are: http://samysphotoschool.com/ and http://52.10.223.13

    Thanks,
    Mario

Hi, Mario. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

Is the Eventbrite event Public? It’s required to be in order to use our Eventbrite Tickets add-on (a requirement of their API).

If it is already a Public event on Eventbrite.com, could you please provide the link to your Eventbrite event (the URL where it’s viewable on Eventbrite’s website)?

Also, are you experiencing this with other Eventbrite events on these 2 sites, or just this one Eventbrite event?

    Hello,

    Here’s the Eventbrite url: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/off-site-private-one-on-one-class-tickets-29290669180?aff=es2

I have experienced this with a few other classes, but usually I can delete the event, re-import, and it works. I tried the same with the event above, but it reverts back to Draft every time.

    Thanks,
    Mario

BTW… It is a public event.

    Thanks, Mario.

I was able to import that URL to my local testing site and I do see the Eventbrite Event Status is Draft.

I tried to change it to Live and it didn’t work for me either… which is what is to be expected since my local testing site’s Eventbrite credentials shouldn’t be able to edit your event on Eventbrite.

Was this event created on Eventbrite’s website or directly from your WordPress site? If the former, are your site’s Eventbrite credentials (in the settings area of Eventbrite Tickets at wp-admin > Events > Settings > APIs) from the same account that created this Eventbrite event?
