Event List Widget Showing only Featured Category

I’m using the Events List widget on my home page & footer, and have a specific category selected to be shown, but the widget only shows featured events. The “view more” link at the bottom of the list goes to the correct category, but the events listed are not correct. Oddly enough, the Events Calendar widget that includes a mini calendar with a list below works perfectly with a category selected.

I tested all the plugins & it doesn’t seem to be a conflict there.

I’ll need you to review the Testing for conflicts guide to rule out both theme and plugin conflicts before I’m able to provide any assistance. Once I’ve got that information I’ll have a better idea on how to proceed.

Thanks for the quick reply. It was a theme conflict. I was under the impression that the theme was up-to-date, but it was not. New theme version = widget working perfectly. Thanks!
