Event List Widget does not show today's remaining events

When populating the footer widget with the Event List Widgets, today’s remaining events are not listed, only the next days events are listed.

I would like both the current days events and the upcoming next days events listed.

I checked out your site and, for me, it seems like the widget is getting all of the upcoming events for today? Here’s a screenshot of what I see:

This problem is intermittent, I can continue to chase this and provide screen shots when it happens again.

That sounds good to me Jennifer, and I appreciate your patience and willingness to update the thread here with those screenshots if issues arise again.

If possible, I’m curious if you can also spot on patterns among the events that do specifically cause problems – e.g. are the problematic events recurring events, or events that have specific start times or end times or something, etc. Anything at all that stands out about them, if any such patterns exist…

I have not seen this issue repeat.

This is happening again, please see the footer, in Upcoming Classes.

Notice how it is only listing classes on Wed 16, Thu 17 and Fri 18, but there are still 2 classes left tonight, Tues 15, see below on the calendar page, Tuesday has dates.

This seems to only happen on Tuesday, at this time. This is the time frame it happened last.

Hi Jennifer,

How, specifically, did you make the http://jennduranyoga.com/list-view/ page on your site? Normally the list view is only accessible at /events/view/list.

As for your other issues, it seems like perhaps your timezone settings could be to blame…your “System Information” says that your server timezone is UTC, while there is no value for your WordPress timezone.

Can you verify this? If you head to Settings > General in your wp-admin, what is the timezone there? Does adjusting it to “America/New York” or the equivalent timezone help your issues at all?

I updated the timezone and then updated the ‘enable timezone support’ in your settings! It works!!! Yay!!!!

For the list view, I leveraged the ENFOLD theme to populate the stage with your event widget. ENFOLD allows you to put widgets in your stage, not only sidebars, but your stage.
