ParticipantI believe I have read every support thread available on this topic, and haven’t seen a solution. My apoligies if it has already been addressed and I’ve missed it.
ISSUE: This is a 7 day per week, live music/event venue where most events run past midnight. I use the Events List Widget (using shortcode) to display the next four events on the site homepage. The event list will show the past event from the previous day until I manually edit the event after it has passed to an end time of 11:59pm to remove it from the home page. We have a late night clientele, so nightly events must display till at least 1:30am on The Event List widget.
Our main Events Calendar works fine. Daily cutoff time is set to 2am. All is well here.
THE SITE: http://motrpub.com/
THE CALENDAR: http://motrpub.com/index.php/events/month/
OUR SHORTCODE: ‘[ecs-list-events contentorder=’title, thumbnail, excerpt, venue’ limit=’4′ eventdetails=’true’ thumb=’true’ thumbwidth=’500′ thumbheight=’400′]’WordPress – Version 4.5.4
The Events Calendar – Version 4.2.6
The Events Calendar PRO – Version 4.2.5 ( JUST INSTALLED TODAY BTW )
The Events Calendar Shortcode – Version 1.2Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

MemberHi Brian.
The
[ecs-list-events]shortcode is not from our plugin. It is from the third-party The Events Calendar Shortcode plugin. We do not provide support for it.Please let me know if you’re having the same issue(s) when using one of our plugin’s widgets or shortcodes.

ParticipantThanks Cliff!… That lead me in the right direction for the solution. I did not do the build on this site, just troubleshooting… At a glance the name, title, and description of that plugin looks like it is yours. Makes sense now. I was getting conflicting short code information (thinking it was one in the same). Just fyi, if anyone stumbles across this same issue, the answer i needed was adding [key=’start date’ order=’ASC’] to the code above.
THANKS!
BiranSince you are reading this 😀 (sorry, rather than start a new topic) off the top of your head. Any quick thoughts on a way to NOT display start and end times anywhere on the event? At this place times are really loose guidelines anyway.
