Event List View URL (…/upcoming/) Customization

Is it possible to customize the “Events List View” URL from “…/upcoming/” to say “…/list/”?

Hi Albert,

One possible approach is to set up a translation and within that you could translate “upcoming” to “list”. We can’t really help you with that process but there are some learning resources out there you can refer to for this:

• Localizing WordPress

If you don’t need a translation for any other reason than to change the upcoming slug this may be overkill and/or too complicated. If so, an alternative approach could be to add some code to your theme’s functions.php file.

Whichever approach you choose, don’t forget to flush your rewrite rules by visting Settings > Permalinks.

Hi Barry,
You are right, setting up a translation would have been overkill for what I was trying to achieve. I simply used the code that you generously provided and plugged it into my functions. php file, then flushed my permalinks…and it worked! Thank you very much!
