Event Links in the mini calendar go to # and not the actual URL

In my mini calendar when I click on a date with an event it goes nowhere, it just links to #.

Thanks for getting in touch! Hopefully I can help you out here. This is working as designed, since clicking on the date will refresh the event(s) that display below the calendar. If you want to view the Event Detail page, then you can just click the Event Title. If you had more events on your calendar, you’d see this functionality more obviously.

If you go to http://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/ the mini calendar is set to go to the events page when that date is clicked it shows all the details for the events on that date. Is there a way to get my mini calendar to perform in this way?

Ok, it looks like if you use 0 in the ‘Number of Events to show’ field then it will just link directly to the page (screenshot). However, you won’t have any events displaying beneath your mini calendar.
