ParticipantI have the calendar set to ‘full styles’, & ‘default events template’, however the text seems to start right at the top of the page so the menu bar overlaps, rather than starting underneath the menu bar. Please see attached screen shot. I’ve tried various other settings but if I change the setting to ‘ blank page’, it shows widget info and blog posts to the right of the page which I don’t want, I want it to be a blank page. However I’ve also noticed that in the ‘default events template’ setting, the page is black, how can I style this so it’s a different colour?
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Emma,
Thanks for reaching out! I took a look at your site (http://newlifecroydon.co.uk/dev2/events), and it looks like the menu is no longer overlapping the events content. The background is also white. Were you able to get this resolved?
You can adjust some of the colors for events by going to Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar.
Let me know if you need any further assistance with this!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer
Thanks for getting back to me. I’m not sure how I did it but I somehow managed to fix that bit, however it still doesn’t look right when you click into the event, it seems to start underneath the navigation bar rather than below the bar. Is there a way this can be fixed?
Thanks!
Emma

KeymasterHi Emma,
I’m glad to hear you were able to get the colors fixed! It looks the like header is actually missing entirely from that page. Can you try adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display to see if that makes a difference? These settings control how much the events pages inherit their styling from the theme, so using the theme’s template could fix the issue. Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jennifer
