ParticipantI have an event with 12 tickets available, and 8 have been sold. But when a new customer tries to book a ticket, it gives an error and says that there are -4 tickets left for the event!
If I change the number of tickets available to 20, it then allows 4 tickets to be purchased before they are sold out.
Anyone know what’s going on here?!!
Also, my plugins are up to date.

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.
First, can you try updating to the current version of WordPress (4.9.4) and Easy Digital Downloads (2.9)? You might want to do this in a testing site first – If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
After updating, if you’re still running into this issue, the next step would be to run through this guide to check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or other plugins. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled while testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply.

The issue seems to be resolved. I’m not entirely sure how, but possibly a caching issue.
But I do have another question – how do I resend tickets if I’m using Easy Digital Downloads? I don’t see any option to do so. Also, how do I know if tickets have been sent?

I’m glad that this is working again!
There is unfortunately not an out of the box way to resend the ticket email, but what you could do is use the free PDF Tickets extension to generate PDF versions of the tickets, which you can then send manually.
If this is an option that you would like to see added in the future, we’d love it if you could post the idea in our Feature Ideas Forum! We use this to gauge user interest in new features and help plan future development.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straight-forward solution for you at the moment, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
