Event description deleted in Eventbrite after import.

After going live with a new event in Eventbrite, I then use the legacy import to pull the event into my WordPress site. The WP event contains all of the imported event description text, but the formatting is typically off. If I then edit the event description on the WP side, the plugin writes the changes back to Eventbrite.

How do I prevent the plugin from writing back to Eventbrite? I want Eventbrite to be the only source of information. The import settings do not indicate that the event description will be written back to Eventbrite. It only refers to the options for overwriting the text on the WP side.

Thanks for using our plugins and for getting in touch!

It all depends on this setting: https://cloudup.com/cQ4H4WudYKh

If you have ‘Yes’ selected there, then all changes will be updated to Eventbrite.

If you choose ‘No’ then the event on your WP site and on Eventbrite will be totally disconnected. Note however that after disconnecting the 2 events no updates will be pushed to Eventbrite and you will likely not be able to reconnect them.
