Event dates showing up in english

Hi there,

I’m putting together a site using The Events Calendar and WPML that is meant to be in english and french. English is the primary language. I’ve followed the instructions here:

WPML Configuration

I have found and translated month names using WPML’s string translations (I don’t think that’s where the month names are coming from)

But the month names are still coming out in english on french event pages and on widgets that list events. (e.g. http://cn.jungle.ca/fr/event/annual-biathlon-competition/)

How do I get the names of the months to appear in French?
