I have used EDD in conjunction with Events Calendar Pro on a client site. The site is a building college that offers various courses. Some of the courses run throughout the year on a monthly or weekly basis, some run every other weekend. Due to the fact we can’t have recurring events with EDD I’ve had to set it up so that the client has to add a new course every time it has a different date.
The client has come back to me today to say someone has purchased a place on a course but in the PayPal receipt email confirmation only the Ticket Name displays in the ‘Description’ section. The Ticket Name is just the name of the course, whereas the Ticket Description includes the dates. The problem is, my client doesn’t know what course dates the user has booked a place on. Is there a way to add the Ticket Description, or better still the Event Start/End time to the PayPal receipt/confirmation? At the moment the only way around it I can think of is to tell the client to add the course dates directly in to the ticket name manually, but I want to know if there’s a more convenient way before asking him to do that.
