Event date format in email notifications

Hi there,

I hope you can help me with this.

I am using Ninja forms as a registration form with payments for events. I tried using your Ticketing plugin first, however it does not work with recurring events so this unfortunately would not suit my needs.

With the form set up using Ninja Forms, I have added a field with the short code {post_meta:_EventStartDate} so that the event date comes through on the email notification. However the formatting is not the same as how I have it set up in Events Calendar or WordPress.

The date and time in the email from this short code comes through as: 2018-04-03 16:00:00

I need the date format to be 03-04-2018

In Events Calendar I have date format set as: j F Y and the WordPress General settings for date is set as j F Y

Is there a short code I could use in the emails for the date to match the format I use for the events set up?

The inline shortcode does not seem to include the event date.

I am also using the following shortcodes for the event name and link to the event page: Event name: {wp:post_title} Link to Event Details: {wp:post_url}

Your assistance with this is much appreciated.

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.  The template that is used is the email.php template.
