Event Categories

Aloha Team Tribe,
Is it possible to set up event categories the user can filter by? Is it possible to color code different event types in the calendar view? I see the event categories can be set up, but then they become part of the menu. I am not sure if I understood that exactly. My goal is that the user can filter events by countries.

Can that be set up automatically and if not can you customize that for me?

Hello standupmagazin,

It sounds like we may already have a solution that will get you the functionality that you’re looking for with the “filtering” of categories that you describe. Check out our Filter Bar plugin. This will allow you to show or hide events from any of your categories. It will also allow additional filtering for venue, organizer, price and more.
