GuestHello, I’m evaluating your PRO product for client site I am designing, and I have a few questions:
1. When you click on different days of the month, it does not update the list of events below the calendar. Is this a bug? or is it not meant to work this way? (see the widget in the right column here: http://wpshindig.com)
2. I am trying to gauge how much custom work it would take (or if another product would do this better) to display a small month calendar in the side column, and then when clicking on a date, it would update the standard list of events in the main column. Are you aware of anyone successfully doing something similar on an existing site?
3. Is there a way to default to different views based on the device? Month view works great on mobile, but I prefer how the day or photo view works on desktop.
Thanks for your time,

KeymasterHello Laura,
Thank you for reaching out and for evaluating our plugins! I’d be happy to answer your questions.
1. Whoa, that looks like a bug. I got it working once, and second time I didn’t. Anyway, yes, it definitely should update. Here’s a screencast I did now on how it is supposed to work.
2. I’m not aware of any solution like that. But if I understand your need correctly you could simply use the day view which work already without the PRO.
In the day view you need to select the date in the search bar. I’m quite sure that with a bit of customization you could have that _picker_ visible all the time.
3. There absolutely is a way to do that. You can find this setting under Events > Settings > Display tab and looks like this.
I do hope these answer your questions adequately, and if you have any more, let them come. 🙂
Cheers,

GuestThank you for your responses! This is helpful. We are looking at PRO because we need repeating events.
Have a good day,
