Event Calendar Views

Dear Sir, We plan to use event calendar on our website with the Avada theme. The theme is already purchased and we are about to start work.

We have a few distinct locations where most of our events happen and we would like to show the various views by location.
For example we would like a calendar list view by location.

Is this possible with the event calendar. We could do it by organizer or by a custom field if the plugin supports a list view with this filter.

Each of these would be a separate link not one single list with a filter.

How can we do this? Is the functionality available? Does it need the use of the events calendar pro?

We are considering pro for other functionality but this is critical at the outset. else we may not use event calendar at all.

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your questions.

The Events Calendar Pro plugin adds the option for a “search by location” in the search bar, as well as a map view. It also provides shortcodes that can be used to display category specific calendars on individual pages.

Our Filterbar plugin adds additional functionality for searching by location. You can filter the results by venue, state, country, etc.

However, it sounds like this may not meet your criteria of “not one single list with a filter.”

Your best bet for achieving that may be creating categories for the different locations, and using the shortcodes that are available in TEC Pro to create calendars for each on static pages.
