GuestHi,
We are using a new theme which incorporated thsi Event Calendar plugin as default event management tool.We use 5 calendars and I was wondering if the Event Calendar plugin support multiple ics files or iframe ( containing 5 calendars)?
Any implementation docs/details?

ParticipantHey John,
Thanks for reaching out.
We do not have any official partnerships with any themes out there, and it is generally not recommended for themes to include plugins in them by default. I just wanted to note this because issues may arise with the plugin based on its inclusion in the theme which are not issues we’re able to help with, unfortunately.
As for your specific questions, no, our calendar plugins do not allow for having multiple ics files or iframes with each one representing a different calendar.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Thank you,

GuestThanks for your response,
Does Event Calendar support iframe? How do I incorporate only one iframe in the Event Calendar?
Thanks

ParticipantHey John,
Our calendar plugins do not have iframes out-of-the-box. When you ask if it will “support” iframe, this all depends on how you want to use our calendars within iframes.
There is no inherent limitation of our plugins within iframes, and you should be able to use our calendars within iframes as long as you follow the general rules of using iframes on a site and within WordPress.
We cannot help with custom coding or provide technical insight on this, even for customers with a license (read more here).
So you will have to take the reins on figuring out how to incorporate iframes on your own site. Research online about using iframes within WordPress, and be sure to research any problems with WordPress’s admin-ajax.php file in iframes—there are many things about this file that make it very important in terms of security, and so there may be some limitations with how this file can be called in “iframed” web pages on a WordPress site.
I will close this thread for now because iframes are not something we make or have built into our plugins—research online for information about iframes and WordPress, and tinker around with things as you see fit.
Best of luck with your project!
