ParticipantHi, the date filter on our calendar right now is shown as a text field for our theme, but shows a date picker for the default twenty-sixteen theme. Same thing with the location filter. It’s missing location hinting with our theme. Both filters do not work.
I know it’s a theme issue, but can you point me to the right direction as to why that is (where I might go to find the issue)and what we can do to resolve this problem?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated and please email me at [email protected] with your repsonse.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Please email me at [email protected] for all subsequent replies. I understand this is a theme conflict issue, but I was hoping for your help because I was baffled at why the function j.bootstrapDatepicker ended up as a type error: “not a function.” Only thing I can think of is something is off with the dependency in the header, so at the time the function is run, the file is not loaded, or the function is dependent of bootstrap or JQuery loading first..etc. I checked our header and found all the relevant events calendar / pro’s css and js files are imported, so I am not sure why this issue persist. Also, because of this error, tribe-events-ajax-calendar.js is not loaded successfully, but the other four are all successful.
[“TEC Debug: tribe-events.js successfully loaded”]
tribe-events.min.js?ver=4.2.4:1 [“TEC Debug: tribe-events-pro.js successfully loaded”]
tribe-events.min.js?ver=4.2.4:1 [“TEC Debug: tribe-events-bar.js successfully loaded”]
tribe-events.min.js?ver=4.2.4:1 [“TEC Debug: tribe-events-ajax-maps.js successfully loaded”]Can you please take a look at our header at http://keyconcierge.staging.wpengine.com/events and let me know if you see any dependency issue in relations to the plugin?
Thank you,
Connie

Per our Scope of Support / Terms, we don’t provide such debugging support for themes. However, I can try to help point you in the right direction. For example, in the past, other theme conflicts have been caused by loading jQuery in an odd way or, in your theme’s case, you might want to ask your theme support why that JS file is being loaded by their theme anyway. For example, “What is the js/vendors.js file used for, how is it loaded, and why is it done this way?”
I hope this points you in the right direction.
