Event Calendar Pro – Gift Cards

Hi,
We’ve purchased the Events Calendar Pro, and the Eventbrite extension too… now we are looking to offer gift cards for events. So users can purchase one through Eventbrite and give to another person to use. Wondering if there is a specific plugin you recommend that could help with this?

Thanks for sharing this, but it’s not something we’d provide, and it’s not something we know of existing elsewhere.

Sorry I can’t help much more on this; it’s just something outside of the scope of our products.

If you come across a more technical description of what you want to implement, I may be able to offer some additional guidance toward your end goal.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Ok I will have to find another solution for the gift card problem… what about when someone registers for an event on Eventbrite…. when it syncs with WordPress, is there any kind of tracking within WordPress? We use Memberpress and it would be great to track who has gone to what event. Thanks.

Eventbrite obviously gets updated because it’s the system that actually handles the ticket transaction, but there’s not something built-in that would update your membership plugin.

While there may be some API call that could be intercepted by some custom code, such an integration would be outside of our Scope of Support / Terms.

If there’s a code snippet you’d like me to put some eyes on or something else I can help you with, please update this ticket or create a new ticket if it’s a separate issue.
