I purchased a business licence for Events Calendar Pro having used the free edition first. I deactivated the free version, deleted the free version, then uploaded the zip file provided through my new account. Version is 4.4.5 downloaded on 28/04/2017. Installation went through OK but when I went to the settings/licence menu to input licence supplied, the licence code was rejected with a message: “There is a new version of Event Aggregator available but your licence key is invalid.”.

I’ve captured the image below of the message.

    What do I do now?

I inadvertently downloaded only the download that appeared when I completed my purchase. This showed only the Events Calendar Plugin. However, when I returned to my account later and checked my account section called ‘downloads’ I now saw, for the first time, the two add-ons Event Calendar Pro and Tickets. So I returned to WordPress and installed the two additional add-ons and now my licence is accepted. So all resolved, and looks good. Sorry to have bugged you.

    No worries at all, Stanley.

Yes, PRO is an add-on for The Events Calendar core/free plugin.

From your screenshot, please make sure you don’t have your license for PRO in the textbox for Event Aggregator.

    Have a great week!
